Information Summary:

Galvanized steel plate is coated with a layer of metallic zinc on the surface to prevent corrosion and extend its service life. This type of zinc-coated steel plate is called galvanized plate.
According to production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:
① Hot-dip galvanized steel plate. Thin steel plates are immersed in a molten zinc bath, allowing a layer of zinc to adhere to the surface. Currently, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used, which involves continuously immersing rolled steel plates in a molten zinc bath to produce galvanized steel plates;
② Alloyed galvanized steel plate. This type of steel plate is also produced using the hot-dip method, but after leaving the bath, it is immediately heated to around 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized plate has good adhesion for coatings and weldability;
③ Electro-galvanized steel plate. This galvanized steel plate is produced using electroplating, which provides good processability. However, the coating is thinner, and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized plates;
④ Single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized steel plates. Single-sided galvanized steel plates are products that are galvanized on only one side. In terms of welding, painting, rust prevention, and processing, they have better adaptability than double-sided galvanized plates. To overcome the shortcomings of uncoated zinc on one side, there is also a type of galvanized plate that has a thin layer of zinc coated on the other side, known as double-sided differential galvanized plate;
⑤ Alloyed and composite galvanized steel plates. These are steel plates made from alloys or composites of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, and zinc. This type of steel plate has excellent rust resistance and good coating performance;
In addition to the five types mentioned above, there are also colored galvanized steel plates, printed coated galvanized steel plates, and polyvinyl chloride laminated galvanized steel plates, among others. However, the most commonly used remains hot-dip galvanized plates.
